Moving Again

Moving to somewhere new in the middle of the school year wasn’t exactly ideal for the kids but when my husband got his new job offer there wasn’t really anything we could do about it. I tried to set up the new house like the old one so it would be an easier transition with satellie tv lubbock and the fence in the backyard and all kinds of other amenities they were used to. I don’t know if it was that or the fact that their schoolmates were just great but it’s actually been a pretty seamless transition. I thought Texas itself was going to be a bigger shock to all our systems but as it turns out we adjusted quickly and are looking forward to spending Christmas in our new home. I think the kids like me really miss our family back East but you know, sometimes it’s more about your nuclear family than doing something for the greater good and now that we’re here I definitely think this was the right decision.
